A per-seat license for the manuscript reviewer, for research groups, departments, faculties and doctoral schools. Every manuscript gets the objections a reviewer would raise, with p values recomputed and references checked against seven bibliographic databases, before it is submitted.
Every researcher uploads their manuscript before submitting and gets back what a reviewer would have written: two professional reviews, an editorial decision and the list of what needs fixing. With every p value recomputed from its degrees of freedom, every effect size checked against the F it came from, and every reference looked up in eight bibliographic databases. Licensed per seat, for a group, a department, a faculty or the whole university.
Small team · Processed as minor expenditure, with a proforma and an invoice, and resolved in days. It exists so that trying the tool with a real team does not depend on a committee. · Up to 8 seats: €48 per seat per year. It is the only amount ONE person —the principal investigator— can authorize without opening a procurement file.
Group or department · The size of a department or a whole research institute. Still within an ordinary minor contract, so it opens no procurement file. · 100 seats is €3,000 a year and 250 seats €6,000.
Faculty or doctoral school · A whole faculty or doctoral school. It is the tier with the best ratio between what it costs and what it covers, and the last one processed without a procurement file. · 500 seats is €9,500 and 1,000 seats €14,000, which is the ceiling of an ordinary minor contract.
University · The whole university, or its entire doctoral program. At this size the conversation stops being about price and becomes about budget fit, and there how the object of the contract is worded matters. · The amount is agreed with each university according to the number of seats. Above €15,000 the object of the contract has to be research activity.
Many institutions start with an on-site or online seminar, “How to survive Reviewer 2” or “Publishing in Q1 in the health sciences”, paid from the training budget. It is the low-commitment way to see the level before moving to a bundle or institutional access.
The part that is rarely written down anywhere, and the one that decides whether the bundle lands this academic year or the next. If your procurement office needs something that is not here, ask for it in the form and it goes out with the proposal.
In Spain all four bundles fall below the minor-contract threshold for services — €15,000 excluding tax, article 118 of Law 9/2017 — so they are awarded directly, with a justification report and the invoice. And because a minor contract cannot run longer than a year or be extended (article 29.8 of the same law), all four bundles are annual and fixed-price for exactly that reason — not a marketing choice, but the shape that fits the administrative instrument. Check it with your own procurement office anyway: every center applies it its own way. Outside Spain, tell me your institution’s direct-award threshold and I will adapt the proposal to it.
Bundles come out of the external services line, or the technical staff line of a grant, which is exactly what it is there for. Workshops come out of the training budget or the doctoral school’s.
It is issued by BEETRICS ANALYTICS SL, the entity that invoices these services. Ask and you get it with its tax ID, description, amount, taxes and validity, in whatever format your administrator needs. No meeting first and no commitment: some centers only need that document to open the file.
A confidentiality agreement if you ask for one, and a GDPR data processing agreement. Manuscripts are processed with paid API keys, which do not train models on what they receive, and the text is deleted once the report is delivered.
The same minor-contract threshold applies, and a hospital or research institute email counts just the same on the tools’ adoption map: there is no whitelist of universities, any domain belonging to a center counts.
Reviewer access for members, paid from the organisation’s own continuing-education budget, plus the kick-off workshop as a training activity.
The annual workshop for PhD students (included in the department bundle) can also be contracted as the school’s own training activity, from its cross-cutting training budget.
Same service, contracted per project and without the public minor-contract duration limit: the agreement fits the project’s own calendar.
