Paste the fit indices of two or three competing models and see which one fits best: a traffic light per index (Hu & Bentler) and Burnham & Anderson ΔAIC.
If you use it in your thesis or in a paper, cite it so that readers of your Methods section know how the calculation was done.

For your Methods section: Competing models were compared with the AIC (Akaike, 1974) and the BIC (Schwarz, 1978) estimated in the statistical software, and their fit was judged against the Hu and Bentler (1999) criteria, using the Ciudad Science structural equation model comparator (Ciudad-Fernández, 2026).
